BEAUTIFICATION AWARDS are sent quarterly by KCB to those businesses, individuals, or government entities who have done an outstanding job on their own properties which then contribute to the overall beautification of the community of Cuero.
In October 2005, Mrs. Blanton, first chairman of Beautify Cuero, Inc., was recognized at a special ceremony at the City Gazebo in the Downtown Historic District. Several of the original members of her committee were also recognized including Precelia Brown, Carolyn Ferguson, and Phyliss Lapp. The community was able to express their appreciation for the efforts of this volunteer in helping to beautify Cuero and to educate the community on the importance of removing litter, planting trees, and proper landscaping.
